Hi,
My friend and I (Americans) are doing an internship in London for the semester. We have explored much of London and are going to Berlin, Amsterdam, Dublin, Barcelona, Vienna, Budapest, Prague, and Venice. We are trying to figure out our last destination (distance irrelevant), and are not considering Paris or anywhere else in Italy. We are thinking either Belgium (Brussels and Bruges) or Portugal (Lisbon) for a two day weekend trip as of now, leaning more towards Belgium. Is this the right choice, and should we be considering somewhere else? We would like to have fun with nightlife, but would potentially sacrifice that for a city that is really interesting. What to see in Portugal?
